
Getting Ready Guide
Exterior Preparation:
Park vehicles on the street or in the garage.
Store garbage cans out of sight.
Sweep walkways, porches, and driveways.
Remove any weeds and tidy up flower beds.
Mow the lawn, trim shrubs, and clear leaves.
Hide garden hoses, reels, and other lawn equipment.
Arrange and clean patio furniture.
Remove children’s toys and pet items from the yard.
Interior Preparation:
Sweep, mop floors, clean windows, and dust surfaces.
Store away clutter in drawers, closets, or the garage.
Remove towels and small rugs from bathrooms and kitchens.
Clear countertops, vanities, dressers, nightstands, and other surfaces.
Make all beds and straighten curtains.
Store all personal hygiene items out of sight.
Hide trash cans in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Pick up and store away kids’ toys and pet items.
Crate or relocate pets to a secure area (garage, basement, or another room).
Replace burnt-out light bulbs.
Tuck away visible cords (TV, power cords, etc.).
What We Do:
Adjust blinds and lighting for optimal exposure.
Ensure all toilet seats are closed before photographing.
What We Will NOT Do:
Move or rearrange furniture or other household items.
Handle or hide cords, including TV and power cables.
Make beds, clean, dust, or declutter.
Move or handle pets or pet-related items.
Touch or relocate personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, shampoos, etc.).
Edit out vehicles, power lines, walls, cords, or other elements in Photoshop.
Important Reminder:
Please avoid scheduling other services (cleaners, movers, contractors, etc.) on the day of your appointment.
For safety reasons, our photographers will not enter a home unless pets are crated or placed in a separate, closed-off room. If pets are loose and no one is available to secure them, we will need to reschedule the appointment.
